Overnight Matcha Oats-3I swear I have no intention of turning my blog into a “breakfast central”. It just happened that I have a few ready-to-post recipes I made for another project and all of them are breakfast-related. Out of those six recipes that I have I just had to share this one first, because it’s my absolute favorite!

I do have a thing for matcha in general, but I keep forgetting about it from time to time. I mean, seriously, forgetting is what I do best these days…But I’m glad to be reunited with matcha.. and now I put in on everything. Literally! Just last week someone asked me under one of my breakfast Instagram pictures if I sprinkled matcha on my yogurt. Chirp.Chirp.Chirp… Fine, I did do that! I told you I sprinkle it on EVERYTHING nowadays and I’m proud of it. Okay? So where was I? Oh, that’s right. Make this matcha latte oats. It’s an absolute keeper!

Overnight Matcha Latte Oats
Recipe type: Breakfast
Serves: 1
  • ⅞ cup (70 g) oats
  • 1 tsp matcha
  • ½ cup (120 ml) whole milk*
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • ½ mango
  • ¼ cup (25 g) pistachios meat
  1. The night before breakfast. Pour the oats into a glass jar and set aside.
  2. Put matcha in a mug, add about 3 tbsp of hot water, and whisk vigorously with a small whisk. Continue whisking and pour in milk and agave syrup.
  3. Add matcha latter to the jar with oats, cover and refrigerate.
  4. On the next morning, before serving, peel and cut up a half of mango in cubes.
  5. Take the jar with oats out of the fridge, stir carefully, then top with mango and pistachios.
*For vegan version use any nut milk

  • овсяные хлопья — 70 г
  • чай матча — 1 ч.л.
  • горячая вода — 50 мл
  • молоко* (комнатной температуры) — 120 мл
  • нектар агавы — 1 ст.л.
  • манго — 0,5 шт
  • ядра фисташек (измельчить) — 25 г
  1. За вечер до подачи ленивой овсянки насыпать овсяные хлопья в стеклянную банку.
  2. В большой чайной чашке развести порошок чая матча залив 50 мл кипятка и хорошо размешав венчиком. Продолжая размешивать матча венчиком влить молоко и нектар агавы. Готовый матча-латте влить в банку поверх овсянки.
  3. Половуну манго очистить и нарезать на мелкие кубики и уложить слоем поверх овсянки. Сверху посыпать измельченными фисташками.
  4. Банку накрыть и поставить в холодильник на ночь.
* Для веганского варината можно использовать любое растительное молоко.
